Documentary filmmaker Shaunak Sen follows the story of two brothers living in New Delhi, one of the most populated cities in the world. Due to air pollution and other degrading environmental factors, black kite birds start falling from the skies as they are choked by the smog. The men begin to care for these fallen birds, even creating a makeshift bird hospital in their small apartment. They all try to protect and sustain life while existing amidst a society suffering from environmental toxicity and rising civil unrest.
