Based on real events. In 2013, three siblings from central Florida; Ryan, Lee Grace and Dylan find themselves in a no-win situation. Ryan, an expectant father, is about to have his probation revoked, triggering an immediate 20-year sentence back to prison. The siblings climb into their tiny beat-up Impreza and head to points unknown. Immediately, things began to spin out of control. With the police hot on their heels a decision is made to fund their cross-country journey by robbing banks. Masks on, guns drawn, the job is a success. Dubbed by the media as ‘The Dougherty Gang’ fugitives tracked by not only State but Federal officers, their only option is to head west to Mexico, then south to Central America, to start over.
