About this release
In this big-screen reboot of the popular '90s TV series, legendary California lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson) is frustrated when a cocky, hard-partying Olympic swimmer named Matt Brody (Zac Efron) joins his beach-patrol team. However, the two men must learn to work together when they stumble upon a criminal conspiracy. Directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses), Baywatch co-stars Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, and Jon Bass, and includes cameos from David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.
