Marcello (Marcello Fonte) is a quiet and unassuming dog groomer, living in an impoverished suburb in Italy. His side business is selling cocaine so he can afford to go on holidays with his daughter Alida (Alida Baldari Calabria), but this secret comes with certain dangers. Enter Marcello's violent and menacing client Simoncino (Edoardo Pesce) who intimidates Marcello until he joins him in a robbery, as the getaway driver.
