John Patton Ford directs Emily the Criminal, the story of a woman down on her luck who ends up pulled too deep into credit card fraud. Her art school debt keeps Emily saddled, looking for low-end jobs to get by, and ultimately begins to drown her. When the opportunity to participate in credit card fraud for a bigger payoff comes along, she jumps in. Finding that she is good at the scam, her partner Youcef gives her bigger and bigger jobs.
