Directed by Cannes winner Ali Abbasi, the crime thriller chronicles the true story of a serial killer in modern Iran. Targeting female sex workers, the killer manages to escape the police at every turn. When a journalist goes undercover to trap him, the streets of Mashhad transform overnight to reveal a deeper social evil. The film participated in the Cannes Film Festival in 2022 and co-stars Zar Amir-Ebrahimi, Mehdi Bajestani, and Arash Ashtiani.
