Married couple Frank Sinatra and his wife Deborah Kerr embark upon a Mexican vacation to heal their troubled marriage and end up divorced by ambulance-chaser lawyer Cesar Romero in this romantic comedy. The two plan to remarry, but a business crisis at work forces Sinatra back to the states before the wedding. Meanwhile, his best friend Dean Martin shows up to keep Kerr company and thanks again to Romero, the two are married creating all sorts of trouble for Sinatra and Kerr.
