Cady Heron is a hit with teenage classmates after living in Africa with her zoologist parents. However, her life changes drastically when she moves to Illinois and gets a crash course in the psychological warfare and unwritten social rules of modern high school. Inadvertently crossing paths with "The Plastics," an elite trio of popular, manipulative girls led by the ruthless Regina George, Cady is pulled into a toxic web of gossip, backstabbing, and high school drama.
