Directed by Mary Lambert and based on the Stephen King novel, Pet Sematary follows a family who move to a rural Maine home located near a mysterious burial ground with supernatural powers over death. Starring Dale Midkiff and Fred Gwynne, the film combines psychological horror, grief-driven tragedy and supernatural terror through a story involving resurrection and the consequences of disturbing the natural order. The film became one of the best-known Stephen King horror adaptations of the late 1980s.
