In his small workshop, the reclusive and unusual toymaker Geppetto (Roberto Benigni) crafts his most unique creation to date, a puppet that bears an uncanny resemblance to a human boy. When the puppet, Pinocchio (Federico Ielapi) unexpectedly comes to life, he embarks on a fantastical adventure in hopes of transforming into a real boy.
