Directed by Gracie Otto, this comedy-drama follows the story of Red (Krew Boylan), a real estate agent who gets fired from her work. Rethinking her life strategy, she decides to pursue her dream of becoming the best impersonator of Dolly Parton. Dressed in Dolly attire, she performs in a local bar where a booking agent (Bobby Cannavale) and an Elvis impersonator (Rose Byrne) are impressed with her talents. Soon, Red finds herself as one of the top popular copycat acts. However, life as an impersonator soon feels false for Red, and she rethinks her reality anew.
