Spaceballs

Mel Brooks directs and co-stars in this legendary, joke-a-minute sci-fi parody that hilariously roasts the Star Wars franchise and pop-culture fandom. When the wicked leaders of Planet Spaceballs squander their own atmosphere, the tyrannical President Skroob sends the villainous Dark Helmet to kidnap Princess Vespa of the peaceful planet Druidia to steal their air supply. It falls to the rogue space pilot Lone Starr and his loyal half-man, half-dog sidekick Barf to mount a rescue mission, armed with nothing but a rusty starship and the mystical power of "The Schwartz."
