The elegant Lili Palmer plunges enthusiastically into the spooky spirit of the Spanish chiller The House That Screamed (La Residencia). Palmer plays the headmistress of an exclusive French girl's school, where repressive rules are the order of the day. The discipline and the curriculum are "killers" only in the figurative sense; however, a genuine killer is rapidly decimating the student body. The culprit is Palmer's son Luis (John Moulder Brown), who is secretly using the various body parts of his victims to create the Perfect Woman. Gruesome, true, but well done.
