"After Mantoa¿s (Mary Twala Mhlongo) last remaining relative¿her son¿dies in a mining accident in South Africa, she begins to feel indifferent about the idea of dying. The 80-year-old then begins to arrange her own funeral, ultimately wanting to be buried in the village graveyard with her family. When she hears that a dam will soon be erected in their place, which will then result in all of them being forcefully relocated to the city, she vows to stop it with all her might.
