Directed by Mike P. Nelson, this horror thriller is both a reboot and a part of the Wrong Turn series of slasher films. Still predominantly set at the Appalachian Trail areas, the story focuses on a young woman named Jen (Charlotte Vega) who goes on a hike with a group of friends. They abandon the prescribed hike trail and wander off into areas that, unknown to them, are occupied by people from The Foundation. As they are about to find out, this reclusive hidden community zealously guards their privacy and territory?to the death. Co-starring Matthew Modine and Adaine Bradley.
