The popular sci-fi themed children's cartoon series is expanded ino a 86-minute, feature-length animated feature. The year is 2005 and the Autobots are trying to save the universe from the villainous Planet Unicron, as well as the Decepticons, led by Megatron. The chief Autobot is Optimus Prime and he and his troops can change themselves into powerful cars, jet planes whenever the need arises.
